The Cambridge Valley Community Development and Preservation Partnership, Inc.

Formed in 2002, the Cambridge Valley Community Development and Preservation Partnership, Inc. (Community Partnership) is a nonprofit community development organization that promotes people working together to strengthen the economic vitality of rural Southern Washington County by building on the area’s character and assets.   The Community Partnership encourages sustainable neighborhood planning and facilitates downtown revitalization projects—by rehabilitating and celebrating historic community assets. The Community Partnership supports efforts to strengthen local agriculture, a cornerstone of our economy, and expand cultural and recreational opportunities in the region.  It has a history of empowering and bringing together a myriad of talents, leveraging resources and working collaboratively with the public, private and non-profit sector to further build a sustainable, vibrant rural community.

Partnership Goals in Southern Washington County New York:

      • Generate business activity and create jobs 
      • Rehabilitate unique historic structures
      • Expand  residential, cultural and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors
      • Attract visitors to the area
      • Support local agriculture
